Infrastructure Project Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Project Lead to join our dynamic team at Yarra City Council. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to coordinate the efficient and effective delivery of infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities- Determine and manage project priorities to ensure effective resource allocation and achievement of project outcomes, delivery benchmarks, and budget targets.
- Regularly review project productivity, effectiveness, quality, and profitability, including follow-up to monitor project deliverables.
- Review and approve quote submissions, proposals, or tenders in accordance with allocated budgets.
- Evaluate and maintain professional relationships and networks within the industry to ensure respect and regard.
- Collaborate with the Senior Coordinator Infrastructure Delivery to identify new opportunities for value and pursue them as directed.
- Assess equipment and resource requirements to effectively deliver projects and recommend improvements to the Senior Coordinator.
- Ensure a safe working environment for all team members and maintain professional standards.
- Proven experience in project management, particularly in infrastructure delivery.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate complex situations and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
