Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the process of obtaining necessary approvals for energy infrastructure projects
  • Establish relationships with government bodies and local communities to secure approvals
  • Manage a team dedicated to handling access and approvals
  • Develop strategies to streamline access and approval processes
  • Evaluate and ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies

Your Background

  • Proven experience in a lead position as an approvals professional
  • Demonstrated Victorian experience in providing technical advice on planning/environmental matters for gas and renewable infrastructure projects
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to work efficiently and safely while adhering to policies and procedures

The team collaborates to progress projects through development and delivery, working towards APA's purpose of strengthening communities through responsible energy. You will work closely with project teams to develop project plans and align with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate all access and approvals aspects of projects.
