About the Role

The Smith Family is a leading children's education charity that aims to create better futures for young Australians experiencing disadvantage through education.

We are seeking a skilled and passionate facilitator to join our team in Wagga Wagga, NSW. As a facilitator, you will work with our 'Learning for Life' students, delivering engaging programs that promote education and empowerment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver one or more of our programs, including Passport to Success, Keep the Change, Future Seekers, and other initiatives.
  • Work with students in a classroom setting, facilitating interactive sessions and promoting learning.
  • Build strong relationships with students, teachers, and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with our Programs Facilitator Manager to develop and implement program plans.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated qualifications and/or experience in training program delivery or classroom-based learning.
  • A current driver's license, access to a reliable vehicle, and a willingness to travel to program locations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
  • Highly developed organizational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage time effectively.
  • Commitment to our Facilitator Quality Standards, informed by existing frameworks.
  • Ability to obtain a Working With Children's Check.
