Job Title: Support Worker for Individuals with Disabilities

About the Role:

We are seeking a casual entry-level support worker to provide care and assistance to individuals with disabilities. As an integral part of our team, you will implement our model of care to promote the well-being and independence of participants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet individuals' physical, emotional and psychological needs by documenting trends (including behavioural) that form the evidence required to collaborate with healthcare professionals and other stakeholders.
  • Work in group homes or single occupancy settings to maximise participants' capacity and participation and minimise restrictive practices.
  • Collaborate with professionals trained in education, social work, disability and occupational therapy to ensure holistic support.

Requirements:

  • Australian work authorisation is preferred.
  • Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment.

Note: The role suits students seeking experience in the disability, health, education and social work fields.
