Job Title:

Safety, Environment Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Safety, Environment Manager to lead our team in promoting a safe working environment and implementing environmentally responsible practices.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented measures and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and deliver training programs that promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
  • Investigate incidents and accidents to identify root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of all safety and environmental activities, including incident reports, safety audits, and training certifications.
Requirements:
  • Certificate IV or tertiary qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS)
  • 5+ years' experience in a similar position in the civil/construction/infrastructure maintenance industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
