About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Veterinary Director to join our team at Greencross Vets Warners Bay. As a senior veterinarian with a strong clinical background and leadership experience, you will be responsible for providing top-tier veterinary care to our clients and their pets.

Our ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering fear-free, compassionate, and industry-leading healthcare and advice to our patients and their families. You will be a natural leader, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a proven track record of mentoring and developing junior veterinarians and nurses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and guidance to the veterinary team
  • Develop and implement clinical standards and protocols
  • Mentor and develop junior veterinarians and nurses
  • Consult, diagnose, and treat companion animals with autonomy
  • Collaborate with colleagues and specialist network to manage cases
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must hold a Veterinary degree from a university accredited by the Australasian Veterinary Boards' Council (AVBC) and/or have completed NAVLE, AVE or alike examinations. You must also be committed to delivering high-quality patient care and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
