Project Delivery Specialist

As a key member of our project delivery team, you will support the NBN N2P project in Western Australia. Reporting to the Senior Project Engineer, your primary focus will be on reviewing design, managing build end-to-end, materials management, scheduling, procurement, resourcing, reporting, and services.

  • You will be responsible for monitoring key construction milestones to identify and mitigate program risks. This involves capturing accurate information in VPL work management systems.
  • Analyzing subcontractor resourcing to ensure balancing and continuity of work is essential.
  • Critical analysis and rectification of complex issues related to design, construction, program, completions, materials, and low-level commercial items are key aspects of this role.
  • Regularly interacting with internal and subcontractor resources to extract key data is also required.
  • Working closely with logistics specialists to forecast material requirements and ensure risks associated with material availability are identified and mitigated.
  • Presenting the program of work at regular client meetings and discussing issues around project delivery is a critical component of this role.
  • Responding promptly to escalated issues and following through to rectification or escalating as required.

We are seeking an experienced professional who has at least 2 years of experience in a similar position, preferably within the Telecommunications/Construction industry.

Key skills and qualifications include:

  • Comfortably operating in a time-critical project environment.
  • Ability to interpret engineering and survey drawings (advantageous).
  • Ability to interface with subcontractors and clients to ensure delivery compliance.
  • Good understanding of telecommunications pit and pipe and aerial optic fibre network infrastructure.
  • Strong knowledge of project financial management.
