About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Structural Marine Engineer to join our team in Western Australia. As a key member of our Ports, Marine & Coastal Team, you will be responsible for translating client requirements into functioning assets, overseeing all stages of design with high analytical skill, and ensuring industry and regulatory compliance to meet our clients' future needs.

  • You will leverage your mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills in your discipline to assist in project design and implementation.
  • You will establish design-related hypotheses for testing through data analysis and resolving design gaps.
  • You will undertake packages of design work with minimal supervision, showcasing your experience and technical mastery.
  • You will produce and review technical drawings, 3D models, and plans, as well as create material requisition specifications.
  • You will contribute to co-creating innovative solutions and bringing ideas to life by understanding and meeting our clients' future needs.
  • You will add value across the entire project lifecycle, from feasibility and concept design to detailed design, while ensuring adherence to regulations and industry best practices.
Your Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, paired with experience in Maritime Engineering.
  • Proven ability to innovate and reimagine solutions, showcasing a commitment to continuous learning.
  • Experience in fostering collaboration in diverse teams to bring innovative solutions to fruition, valuing varied perspectives and skills.
  • Dedication to elevating team performance to meet or surpass client expectations, with a focus on exceptional service and securing repeat business.
  • Hands-on experience in ensuring project adherence to industry regulations and best practices, maintaining high standards of work.
