Job Title: Practice Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Practice Manager to join our team at Greencross Vets. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing veterinary clinics and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Team Management:
    • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of veterinary professionals and support staff
    • Foster a positive and collaborative team culture that emphasizes exceptional patient care and client satisfaction
  • Operational Excellence:
    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the clinic, including scheduling, inventory management, and facility maintenance
    • Ensure compliance with veterinary standards and regulations
  • Client Relations:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring a positive experience and addressing any concerns promptly
    • Implement strategies to enhance client retention and satisfaction
  • Financial Management:
    • Work closely with the regional management team to achieve financial targets and budgets
    • Monitor and manage clinic financial performance, including invoicing and accounts receivable
  • Marketing and Community Engagement:
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement promotional strategies to attract new clients
    • Engage with the local community to build awareness of the clinic's services

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing
  • Proven experience in a managerial role within the veterinary industry (1-2 years at least is ideal)
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of veterinary practice operations and industry regulations
  • Business acumen and financial management skills
  • Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering outstanding client service

Our clinic is a stones throw from the stunning Gold Coast beaches and local cafes. We have a full time Vet Director and 2 Part Time vets who are supported by a wonderful team of qualified nurses.

Our clinic includes 2 spacious consult rooms, a dedicated dental suite, surgical theatre, Ultrasound and separate cat and dog wards.

We are seeking an experienced Practice Manager with 1-2 years experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in the efficient operation of the clinic, ensuring a seamless experience for both our clients and our dedicated team of veterinary professionals.
