We are on the lookout for a motivated, data-oriented, and client-focused Account Manager to become a vital part of our expanding Global Growth team. This role will focus on ensuring the success of Growth clients' Outbrain Amplify campaigns. The selected candidate will cultivate relationships and maintain effective communication with prospects, clients, and internal teams.

The ideal applicant is analytical and a proactive self-starter, eager to engage, identify client opportunities, respond to incoming inquiries, and enhance the customer experience in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

  • Assist inbound leads and clients across the APAC region, including Japan, ANZ, and SEA.
  • Conduct client kick-off meetings and onboarding sessions to educate them on Outbrain's best practices and strategies for campaign success.
  • Oversee the daily operations of Growth client accounts.
  • Address and resolve client issues promptly.
  • Analyze campaign performance and provide data-driven insights to guide clients in their strategies and optimizations.
  • Manage and expand your own portfolio by identifying opportunities and helping clients achieve optimal ROAS.
  • Ensure effective communication through various channels.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and intellectual curiosity.

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of experience in digital marketing or advertising.
  • Proficient in Japanese – a requirement (native speakers preferred).
  • A proactive approach; eager to engage with clients to meet revenue objectives through direct selling, upselling, and renewals.
  • Strong analytical skills; comfortable analyzing data, manipulating it in Excel, and deriving meaningful insights for clients.
  • Detail-oriented; highly organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks based on client needs.
  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively while managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Technical aptitude and willingness to learn the intricacies of the Outbrain system to assist clients effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the capacity to execute efficiently in a dynamic environment.
  • Exceptional time-management and organizational skills.
  • Able to engage with clients confidently and assertively.
  • Familiarity with third-party digital platforms such as Google Analytics, Doubleclick, Tableau, Salesforce, etc., is advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications, particularly Excel.
  • Background in pre-sales or sales is a plus.
