About the Role

The Business Services/Enterprise Procurement Manager is a key leadership position within the Department of Finance WA, responsible for leading the Business Services team to provide business support services in the area of parking, motor vehicle fleet, corporate credit card administration, procure to pay administration, goods and services contract formation and management, and travel administration.

This role coordinates the Department of Finance's (Finance) procure to pay process and provides leadership and support to staff located in Business Units.

About You

You are a highly motivated and analytical manager with a strong understanding of procurement processes, purchasing, policy development and corporate services functions. Focusing on people, you are able to lead a multifunctional team and engage with stakeholders at various levels. You can demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills taking care to provide relevant and accurate advice. Working knowledge of the WA Procurement Rules and framework is highly recommended.

This position operates in the context of Leading Others, requiring you to motivate and enable others to deliver high-quality work. You will balance time between doing the work and coaching, guiding and developing others.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Business Services team to provide business support services in the area of parking, motor vehicle fleet, corporate credit card administration, procure to pay administration, goods and services contract formation and management, and travel administration.
  • Coordinate the Department of Finance's procure to pay process.
  • Provide leadership and support to staff located in Business Units.
  • Develop and implement business processes and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address business needs and opportunities.
