About the Role

We're seeking an experienced and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at C&K Caloundra Childcare Centre. As a Lead Educator, you'll be responsible for guiding and supporting the learning and development of children aged 6 weeks to 5 years. You'll work collaboratively with your team to create a safe, supportive, and engaging play-based learning environment that encourages children to explore, discover, and grow.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement high-quality educational programs that cater to the diverse needs of children.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive and effective team approach to childcare.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior educators to ensure they have the skills and confidence to deliver exceptional care and education.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote the well-being and safety of children and staff.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices in early childhood education.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A minimum of a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or willingness to commence studying that qualification.
  • First Aid, CPR, and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification.
  • A valid Blue Card or Exemption Card.
  • A Police Check current within three months (or willingness to obtain one).
