About the Role

We're seeking an experienced and passionate Lead Educator to join our team at C&K North Caloundra Community Child Care. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for supporting and guiding children's learning and development, fostering a love of learning that will last a lifetime.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and guide children's learning and development, promoting a love of learning and a sense of curiosity and wonder.
  • Collaborate with your team to create a safe, supportive, and engaging play-based learning environment that meets the needs of all children.
  • Develop and implement educational programs that are tailored to the needs of our children, promoting their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
  • Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues, promoting a sense of community and belonging.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote the well-being and safety of children and staff.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A minimum of a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or willingness to commence studying that qualification.
  • First Aid, CPR, and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification.
  • A valid Blue Card or Exemption Card.
  • A Police Check current within three months (or willingness to obtain one).
