C&K - The Creche and Kindergarten is seeking a dedicated and passionate Lead Educator to join our team at Caloundra Childcare Centre. As a key member of our early childhood education team, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our children.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and qualified early childhood professional who is committed to providing high-quality education and care to children from 6 weeks to 5 years old. As a Lead Educator, you will be responsible for guiding and supporting the learning and development of our children, fostering a love of learning that will last a lifetime.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement engaging and play-based learning programs that cater to the diverse needs of our children.
  • Collaborate with your team to create a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Provide guidance and support to educators and students to ensure the delivery of high-quality education and care.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote the well-being and safety of our children and staff.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or willingness to commence studying that qualification.
  • First Aid, CPR, and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification.
  • A valid Blue Card or Exemption Card.
  • A Police Check current within three months (or willingness to obtain one).
