C&K - The Creche and Kindergarten is seeking a dedicated and passionate Lead Educator to join our team at Caloundra Childcare Centre. As a highly valued member of our community, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of children in our care.

About the Role

As a Lead Educator, you will be responsible for supporting and guiding children's learning and development, fostering a life-long love of learning. You will work collaboratively with your team to create a safe, supportive, and engaging play-based learning environment for children, their families, and our wider community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement high-quality educational programs that cater to the diverse needs of children.
  • Lead and mentor a team of educators to ensure excellent educational outcomes.
  • Build strong relationships with children, families, and the community to promote a sense of belonging and connection.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote a child-safe and inclusive environment.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or willingness to commence studying that qualification.
  • First Aid, CPR, and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification.
  • A valid Blue Card or Exemption Card.
  • A Police Check current within three months (or willingness to obtain one).
