Technical Support SpecialistJob Description

We are seeking a skilled technical support specialist to perform installations, repairs, and maintenance of complex scientific and analytical instrumentation.

As a key member of our Service Team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality service to our customers, ensuring their equipment is running efficiently and effectively.

You will work closely with our Regional Managers to ensure seamless communication and issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Installations: Perform installations from delivery to sign-off, ensuring that all equipment is properly set up and functioning as expected.
  • Repairs and Maintenance: Conduct thorough inspections and repairs of complex scientific and analytical instrumentation, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
  • Customer Support: Respond promptly to customer queries, providing timely and effective resolutions to issues.
  • Maintenance Scheduling: Schedule and perform preventative maintenance tasks in accordance with established schedules.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all activities, including installations, repairs, and maintenance.
  • Communication: Collaborate with colleagues and management to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues that may arise.
Requirements:
  • Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience in electronics or electro-mechanical fields.
  • Skills: Excellent customer relationship skills, including communication, accountability, and understanding customer needs.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree preferred, AAS Electronic Technology or equivalent.
