About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our team in Perth. This is a challenging role that will see you deliver innovative and effective technical solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical advice on complex geotechnical issues to clients and internal staff.
  • Use advanced techniques to synthesise and analyse data for decision making and recommendations.
  • Build a reputation as a Technical Leader and Lead Consultant, participating in industry groups to maintain a high industry profile.
  • Manage and carry out geotechnical reporting for projects.
  • Provide safety leadership and identify high-priority safety hazards.
  • Participate in training activities, mentor and transfer knowledge to other engineers.
  • Manage client relationships and undertake proactive business development activities.
  • Keep abreast of advancing technologies, methods and research & development.
  • Supervise and review activities carried out by less experienced engineers.
  • Prepare tenders, proposals and reports for clients.
  • Guide stakeholder engagement activities.
About You
  • Typically 5 to 12 years' experience in geotechnical engineering.
  • A successful track record in undertaking and managing field investigations for small to large size geotechnical projects.
  • Track record of promoting innovation in the field of geotechnical engineering.
  • Demonstrated experience in the preparation and review of written technical reports and client communications.
  • Demonstrated experience in geotechnical design including rock/soil/structure interaction.
  • A civil engineering or engineering geology degree.
  • Postgraduate qualifications in a geotechnical related field will be considered favourably.
  • A strong work ethic and ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.
  • Ability to take responsibility for geotechnical design delivery in a multidisciplinary environment.
