Medical Educator Opportunity

The position of Medical Educator is a pivotal role in delivering registrar education and support from program entry to fellowship.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality education and mentorship to registrars through group learning, practice visits, and individual guidance.
  • Facilitate registrar progress, assessments, and exam readiness, addressing any issues that may arise.
  • Support supervisors with teaching, professional development, and accreditation requirements.
  • Develop strong relationships with registrars, supervisors, practices, and local health stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • RACGP Fellowship and specialist GP registration.
  • A passion for medical education and registrar support.
  • Strong communication and mentoring skills.
  • Experience in teaching or facilitating learning groups.

This is a part-time opportunity requiring 16 hours of work per week, including a dedicated team collaboration day on Wednesdays. Flexible work arrangements are available, with occasional travel to the North Sydney/Liverpool offices and surrounding training locations as required.
