Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Account Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing key client relationships within the media and agency sectors.

  • Develop and execute strategic marketing plans to drive client growth and success.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to deliver innovative marketing solutions.
  • Oversee project management to ensure timely and budget-friendly deliverables.
  • Present and communicate marketing strategies to clients and stakeholders.
  • Utilize data to inform decision-making and improve client campaigns.
  • Maintain industry knowledge to provide up-to-date and effective strategies.
  • Contribute to the team dynamic, supporting team members and encouraging collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:Client Management:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
  • Develop a deep understanding of clients' businesses, industries, and competitive landscapes.
Campaign Development & Execution:
  • Create and implement strategic PR and communications plans that align with clients' objectives.
  • Coordinate and oversee the execution of PR campaigns, including media outreach, content creation, event planning, and social media management.
  • Monitor campaign performance, analyse results, and provide regular reports to clients.
Media Relations:
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key media contacts across various platforms.
  • Secure media coverage in top-tier outlets to enhance clients' brand visibility and reputation.
  • Draft and distribute press releases, media pitches, and other PR materials.
Content Creation:
  • Develop compelling content, including press releases, articles, blog posts, social media updates, and more.
  • Ensure all content is aligned with clients' brand voice and messaging.
Team Collaboration:
  • Work closely with internal teams, including creative, digital, and research departments, to deliver integrated communication solutions.
  • Mentor and support junior team members, providing guidance and feedback.
Client Reporting:
  • Prepare and present comprehensive reports on campaign progress and results.
  • Conduct regular review meetings with clients to assess campaign effectiveness and adjust strategies as needed.
The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Account Manager should have:

  • Relevant degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the PR, media and agency sector.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Knowledge of current trends and best practices in marketing.
