Mental Health Clinician - Group Based Parenting Support

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Clinician to join our team in the Group Based Parenting Support Program. As a valued member of our team, you will work closely with Practice Lead to facilitate group-based support programs tailored to meet the needs of participating parents, families, carers, and supporters.

The Group Based Parenting Support Program will be facilitated using a trauma-informed child developmental framework. You will work in a multidisciplinary team within Infant Child Youth Mental Health Service, providing a flexible range of parenting programs in local communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver evidence-based treatment programs for parents and adults
  • Run groups with parents and adults
  • Work as a health professional in a multidisciplinary team
  • Develop and implement behavior change theories and practices
  • Provide effective planning, flexibility, problem-solving, and prioritizing skills
  • Work within structures of supervision and clinical accountability

About the Role:

This is a full-time or part-time fixed-term opportunity until June 2026. You will be part of creating a team culture and performance based on hope, optimism, and an understanding of trauma-informed workplace behaviors.
