**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled Client Insights Strategist to join our sales team at News Corp Australia. This role plays a pivotal part in driving business growth and enhancing client satisfaction by leveraging data-driven insights to inform strategic decision-making.

This position requires a blend of analytical expertise, strategic thinking, and strong communication skills to uncover actionable insights that drive client engagement, loyalty, and retention.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a sales, media, product, or integration team within media, advertising, marketing, or publishing industries. Knowledge of relevant audience tools and survey building platforms, including Nielsen, Adobe Analytics, and Asteroid (Roy Morgan), is preferable.

The Client Insights Strategist will be responsible for gathering data from various sources, including client surveys, transactional data, market research, and external databases. They will utilise statistical methods and data analysis techniques to extract meaningful insights from large datasets.

The successful candidate will identify trends, patterns, and correlations in client behavior to understand key drivers of client satisfaction and loyalty. They will develop and maintain client segmentation models based on demographic, behavioural, and psychographic factors.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Gather data from various sources, including client surveys, transactional data, market research, and external databases.
  • Utilise statistical methods and data analysis techniques to extract meaningful insights from large datasets.
  • Identify trends, patterns, and correlations in client behavior to understand key drivers of client satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Develop and maintain client segmentation models based on demographic, behavioural, and psychographic factors.
  • Conduct in-depth profiling of client segments to understand their unique needs, preferences, and pain points.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to tailor messaging, products, and services to different client segments.
  • Translate complex data into clear and actionable insights for internal stakeholders.
  • Prepare and present reports, dashboards, and presentations that communicate key findings and recommendations.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure insights are incorporated into business strategies and initiatives.
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) related to client satisfaction, loyalty, and retention.
  • Monitor and track KPIs over time to assess the effectiveness of client engagement efforts.
  • Identify opportunities for optimisation and continuous improvement based on data analysis and insights.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape.
  • Conduct competitive analysis to benchmark our performance against key competitors and identify areas for differentiation.
  • Provide strategic recommendations based on market insights to support business growth objectives.
