Lead Renewable Projects

As a project manager, you will lead projects from development to client and operations handover. Your expertise in electrical contracting and construction processes is crucial for success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead projects from development to client and operations handover
  • Responsible for project construction, commissioning, and day-to-day management
  • Ensure timely delivery, within scope, and budget
  • Provide escalation on project matters
  • Review project documents and information provided by clients/subcontractors
  • Manage subcontractors' work and scope
  • Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports
  • Capture and report on any budget variations
  • Handover projects to the internal operations team
  • Assess tender submissions and identify opportunities for improvement

Requirements:

  • Must have an electrically biased background with strong understanding of Australian electrical services and installation methods
  • Solid knowledge of electrical contracting and construction processes
  • Ability to engage with clients effectively, presenting design proposals and solutions
  • Fully proficient in measuring and interpreting electrical drawings
  • Experience in delivering infrastructure construction projects
  • Site working and supervisory experience
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations
  • Stakeholder management experience in complex delivery environments
  • Previous experience in a client-facing role
  • Contract administration skills
  • Commercial experience
  • Recognized project management qualification
  • Desire to work in the renewable energy sector
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and MS Project
  • Excellent planning and organizational abilities
  • Pragmatic, proactive, and solution-driven mindset
  • Able to work under pressure and across multiple projects
