Job Role:

The Business Development Professional will be responsible for spearheading and overseeing the development phase of multiple renewable energy projects, encompassing solar and battery energy storage systems (BESS).

Key responsibilities include:

  • Spearheading and managing project planning, permitting, and regulatory compliance processes.
  • Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, landowners, and contractors.
  • Conducting site assessments and feasibility studies to identify suitable project locations.
  • Developing and managing project timelines, resources, and performance metrics.
  • Ensuring projects meet all technical, environmental, and safety standards.
  • Preparing and presenting project proposals, reports, and updates to senior management.
  • Identifying and mitigating project risks and challenges.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
Qualifications and Skills:

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in renewable energy project development, with a focus on solar and BESS.
  • Preferably, experience with wind energy projects.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills, with a proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
