Corporate Lending Manager

We are seeking an experienced Corporate Lending Manager to join our team at Robert Walters. As a key member of our corporate banking team, you will be responsible for leading a high-performing team focused on increasing customer satisfaction through efficient business practices.
Key Responsibilities- Develop a risk-aware culture within the team that includes a 'no surprises' approach.
- Focus on CORE (Customer Outcomes & Risk Excellence) by managing issues impacting customers and business partners.
- Actively contribute to the daily servicing requirements and suggest ways to improve service levels and operational efficiency.
- Create a collaborative culture which clears the way to work effectively within the Lines of Business.
- Manage the deal origination, loan, and settlement processing in LoanIQ.
- Responsible for lending related queries and assisting to resolve reconciliation breaks.
- Partner with Product, Credit Risk, Finance and Lending Service teams to ensure customer deliverables are met.
- Conduct monthly 1:1's with direct reports and implement development and succession plans for the team.
- Minimum five years banking operations experience including leadership roles.
- At least two years' experience managing large teams.
- Degree qualified preferred.
- Corporate lending experience is essential.
- Experience with LoanIQ and Control IQ preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strategic thinking abilities.
- Continuous improvement experience.
