Senior Corporate Lending Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Corporate Lending Manager to join our team at Robert Walters Australia. As a key member of our Corporate Lending team, you will be responsible for leading a high-performing team and driving customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Develop a risk-aware culture within the team, focusing on a 'no surprises' approach.
- Manage issues impacting customers and business partners, prioritizing CORE (Customer Outcomes & Risk Excellence).
- Actively contribute to daily servicing requirements and suggest ways to improve service levels and operational efficiency.
- Create a collaborative culture that enables effective working within the Lines of Business.
- Manage deal origination, loan, and settlement processing in Loan IQ.
- Responsible for lending-related queries and assisting to resolve reconciliation breaks.
- Partner with Product, Credit Risk, Finance, and Lending Service teams to ensure customer deliverables are met.
- Conduct monthly 1:1's with direct reports and implement development and succession plans for the team.
- Minimum five years banking operations experience, including leadership roles.
- At least two years' experience managing large teams.
- Degree qualified preferred.
- Corporate lending experience is essential.
- Experience with Loan IQ and Control IQ preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strategic thinking abilities.
- Continuous improvement experience.
