Job Summary:

We are seeking a Community Support Worker to join our team of dedicated carers. As a Community Support Worker, you will work in your local area, providing personalized care to our valued clients in their own homes. Your role will involve:

  • Domestic Assistance: Providing assistance with household chores, such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
  • Personal Care: Assisting with personal care tasks, such as showering, grooming, and toileting (for those with a Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent).
  • Transportation: Accompanying clients to appointments and shopping.
  • Social Support: Providing companionship and social support to clients.

Requirements:

  • Australian Driver's License: Essential for transporting clients.
  • Reliable Insured Motor Vehicle: Required for transporting clients.
  • Certificate III in Aged Care or Equivalent: Advantageous but not essential.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Essential for building relationships with clients and their families.
  • Positive Attitude: Required for providing high-quality care and support.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive Hourly Rates: From $29.71-$31.04 per hour PPT, plus generous leave loading, Super, Km Reimbursement (96 cents per KM), and NFP Salary Packaging.
  • Immediate Start: PPE, uniform, and work Smart Phone provided.
  • Km Reimbursement and Paid Travel Time: Available for transporting clients.
