Job Title:

Career Opportunities in Oncology Nursing

This role offers the chance to be an integral part of a dynamic and dedicated nursing team, providing exceptional support to patients throughout their cancer treatment journey.

  • Demonstrate expertise in delivering evidence-based, comprehensive oncology nursing care.
  • Ensure practice is aligned with NSW Health Legislation and ACQSHC National Standards.
  • Provide holistic nursing care, high-level patient assessments, and referrals for optimal patient outcomes.
  • Contribute to quality improvements and collaborate with the Quality and Clinical Governance team to ensure best practices.
  • Conduct nursing observations and administer medications in line with policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with Oncologists and the multidisciplinary team.

About You:

  • You must have current and unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
  • 12 months of oncology experience is preferred.
  • Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, showing empathy for patients and their caregivers.
  • Show strong clinical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exhibit effective care planning and coordination skills.
  • Demonstrate dedication to quality improvement and evidence-based practice.
  • Show ability to work collaboratively within a team.
