About the Role

As a Disability Support Worker in Residential Accommodation, you will work closely with adults with disability to implement personalized plans that address their unique needs and goals. You will support clients with daily living and personal care needs, including assistance with meal preparation, personal hygiene, and mobility, as well as overnight care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support clients with working towards their goals, shopping, appointments, and events
  • Assist with daily living and personal care needs, including meal preparation, personal hygiene, and mobility
  • Provide overnight care and support
  • Work collaboratively with a diverse team to deliver high-quality support services

We're seeking individuals who are passionate, have a great attitude, and an eagerness to learn. You will share Yooralla's values and have:

  • A positive approach, initiative, and self-motivation
  • Effective communication skills and good English literacy
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team
  • Experience in manual handling
  • Willingness to support clients with personal care activities
  • Australian Driver Licence
  • The right to work in Australia
