Job Description

The Asset Officer role contributes to meeting ongoing continuous improvement objectives by supporting the implementation of asset management initiatives, policy and procedures. The incumbent reports to the Operations Manager and is responsible for a range of administrative functions and activities within the agency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the implementation of asset management initiatives and policy/procedures.
  • Contribute to meeting departmental policies and goals to support South Australian state schools' sites and their facilities.
  • Provide accurate advice/information to senior executives and appropriate personnel on asset services project issues.

ASO4 $76,561 - $80,256 per annum (1.0 FTE) + superannuation (12%) and leave loading

Others

The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry.

The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN –EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.
