The City of Adelaide is seeking a skilled Asset Manager to oversee the maintenance and upkeep of its roads, kerbs, and bridge assets. This key role involves ensuring that these vital infrastructure components are safe, functional, and aligned with strategic asset plans.

As an Asset Manager, you will play a pivotal part in providing technical guidance and advice to stakeholders, coordinating operational asset management activities, and supporting project managers with technical assessments and stakeholder engagement.

Your day-to-day tasks will include on-site inspections, design reviews, cost estimations, and defect identification. You will also work closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver both routine maintenance and capital works projects.

In addition, you will contribute to driving continuous improvement by refining maintenance management systems and data capture, identifying innovative technologies and best practices.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Demonstrated experience in investigations and design of infrastructure projects
  • Substantial experience in preparation of project briefs, procurement, and contract management of engineering consultants
  • Experience in development of methodologies and procedures associated with quality assurance systems
  • Proficiency in computer-based asset/project management software, scheduling systems, computer-based financial and information reporting systems
