The City of Adelaide is seeking a highly skilled professional to lead the outcomes for Council's roads, kerbs, footpaths and bridge assets. The successful candidate will provide technical advice and guidance to stakeholders, ensuring infrastructure is safe, functional and aligned with strategic asset plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • On-site scoping, design reviews, cost estimations and defect inspections
  • Supporting project managers with technical assessments and stakeholder engagement
  • Monitoring contracts, budgets and dealing directly with engineering consultants
  • Driving continuous improvement by refining maintenance management systems and data capture, identifying innovative technologies and best practice approaches
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience and high level of proficiency in investigations and design of infrastructure projects
  • Substantial experience in the preparation of project briefs, procurement and contract management of engineering consultants
  • Experience in the development of methodologies and procedures associated with quality assurance systems
  • Proficiency in the use of computer-based asset/project management software, scheduling systems, computer-based financial and information reporting systems
