About the Opportunity:

Are you a commercially-minded tax professional seeking a challenging role? This is an exceptional opportunity to lead high-impact tax strategy and transactions in a major business.

You will work closely with senior stakeholders, legal, finance and investment teams, and industry bodies to drive strategic initiatives and day-to-day decisions.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Tax Advice: Provide high-quality tax advice on major transactions and operational matters.
  • Relationship Management: Manage relationships with external advisors, regulators, and internal stakeholders.
  • Legislation Input: Offer input on proposed legislation and participate in industry consultations.
  • Tax Filing: Coordinate external service providers for tax filing and lodgement obligations.
  • Business Continuity: Support business continuity, tax forecasting, and transformation initiatives.
  • Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement in processes, systems, and internal knowledge sharing.

About You:
  • Experience: 8+ years' experience in corporate tax, ideally with trust structures and transaction exposure.
  • Credentials: CA, CPA or post-grad tax law qualification.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in property, investment management or financial services (preferred).
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills—able to simplify complex issues for diverse audiences.
  • Proactive Mindset: A proactive mindset with a knack for navigating ambiguity and making strategic decisions.
  • Teamwork: A team-first approach, contributing to collective success while driving individual outcomes.
