Tax Manager – Corporate Tax

Location: Sydney CBD | Firm: Top 10 Mid-Tier Professional Services Firm

Take the next step in your career with a nationally recognised mid-tier firm that values expertise, collaboration, and growth. We're looking for a Tax Manager to join our Sydney-based team, providing end-to-end Corporate Tax services and advisory to a diverse portfolio of clients.

As a key member of our tax division, you'll be involved in complex compliance matters, strategic advisory work, and team leadership. You'll play a vital role in shaping outcomes for clients across multiple sectors while mentoring junior professionals and helping to grow the firm's capability.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Lead and manage client engagements, ensuring quality delivery and compliance
  • Provide strategic tax advice, including on transactions, structures, and due diligence
  • Conduct technical research and apply findings to real-world client challenges
  • Review tax returns, provisions, and reporting documents
  • Mentor and develop junior team members and contribute to technical training sessions
What We're Looking For:
  • 5–7 years of experience in tax advisory, ideally within professional services
  • Strong leadership and people development capabilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A collaborative mindset with strong client service orientation
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Commerce, Law or Finance
  • CA/CPA qualified (or equivalent); Master of Taxation highly regarded
