Music Director Job OverviewThe Music Director will be responsible for overseeing the music team and leading worship on Sundays. This role requires excellent musicianship and leadership skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinating the music team, including running pre-service practices and developing musical ability and teamwork.
  • Leading musically each Sunday, preferably playing a lead instrument such as keys.
  • Selecting music each week in consultation with the minister and introducing new songs as appropriate.
Requirements:
  • Strong musical leadership and coordination skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
