About the Role:

Centrecare is seeking a skilled Case Manager to join our team in delivering the Department of Communities – Child Protection and Family Support (CPFS) Building Safe and Strong Families: Earlier Intervention and Family Support Strategy (the EIFS Strategy).

The successful candidate will implement a case management approach to service delivery, including strengths-based needs assessment and counselling provision to all family members, including extended family members.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist at risk families to gain access to mainstream and specialist services as required and requested.
  • Respond to and provide crisis intervention supports to families and children as required.

About You:

  • Recognised qualifications in Community Services, Social Work, Psychology, Youth Work and/or related disciplines.
  • Demonstrated experience working collaboratively with other organisations to achieve positive community outcomes.
  • Demonstrated cultural awareness and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander history.
