Senior Engagement and Transition Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Participation Coordinator to join our team in Western Australia. This is an exciting opportunity to work with us in a dynamic and supportive environment.
As a key member of our regional office, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of students who are disengaged or at risk of disengaging from education. Your role will involve providing individualised case brokerage and face-to-face outreach support services to help these students develop high-quality pathway plans and make informed choices about their future.
About the Position- This is a full-time position with the potential for part-time vacancies.
- Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You will also have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and outside the box.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualised case plans for students who are disengaged or at risk of disengaging.
- Provide face-to-face outreach support services to students and their families.
- Broker transitions to and placements with post-school providers, including TAFE and other Registered Training Organisations.
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and other stakeholders to identify and address barriers to student engagement.
- Australian or New Zealand citizenship, permanent residency, or a valid visa with relevant work rights.
- Current 'C' class driver's license and willingness to undertake travel, including overnight stays in non-metropolitan locations.
- Ability to obtain or hold a current Working with Children Check.

$90,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
