Lead Educator Opportunity

The role of a Lead Educator is pivotal in shaping the educational program and ensuring children's learning and development. As an experienced professional, you will have a comprehensive understanding of child development, attachment, and learning.

Job Description:

  • Develop and implement the educational program with the support of Assistant Coordinator/Coordinator;
  • Ensure children's learning and development informs the design of the educational program;
  • Liaise effectively with parents, staff, and stakeholders;
  • Mentor educators on educational programs and practice;
  • Ensure compliance with policy;
  • Undertake administrative requirements;
  • Work collaboratively with families and the school community;

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Hold a Diploma in Children's Services or equivalent;
  • Sound experience in Early Childhood Education;
  • Comprehensive working knowledge of the approved learning framework;
  • Ability to coach and mentor others;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Well-developed critical thinking skills;
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certification;
  • Blue Card (current or willing to obtain);
