About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Home Lending Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional experience by working with customers to meet their end-to-end banking needs.

As a Home Lending Specialist, you will play a key role in guiding customers through the lending process, giving them peace of mind that we are here to help them achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Building a pipeline of lending leads and nurturing these relationships throughout their buying journey using our CRM
  • Guiding customers through the lending process and providing them with expert advice and guidance
  • Leveraging your credit analysis expertise and understanding of customer needs to ensure positive lending outcomes for all
  • Building strong, relationship-centric connections with the community, colleagues, and management to deliver effective lending outcomes for customers
  • Embracing a culture of lifelong learning and bringing your brilliant mind to take your career to the next level with on-the-job training and other learning opportunities
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need to have:

  • Extensive experience in customer service or sales
  • A high level of understanding of lending products, policies, and regulations
  • An ability to build relationships and rapport with customers and colleagues quickly, assess their needs, and develop a holistic view of their situation
  • Highly developed credit analysis skills
  • An understanding of small business offerings
  • Consumer lending experience - this is essential
