The role of a Technical Data and Electronic Flight Bag Specialist is crucial in the Army Aviation Training Centre's Operational Airworthiness section. This position involves operating and maintaining a Technical Publication Library service, comprising paper and electronic document formats.

This includes managing the issue of Data and Electronic Device Reader (EDR) to individuals, sub-units, and sections within AAvnTC. Additionally, the specialist provides operator training for holders of EDR devices and offers guidance to users on effective use.

Key responsibilities include contributing to the management of Orders, Instructions, and Procedures (OIP) content. OIP serves as the primary means of communicating and distributing operating, maintenance, and regulatory information to the workforce.

The Technical Data and Electronic Flight Bag Specialist will be responsible for hosting OIP content on the Aviation Digitalised OIP content management System (AVDOCS) platforms or through the delivery of hardcopy technical data. This ensures safe and reliable operations within AAvnTC.

To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate will possess a high level of initiative and ability to produce outcomes with minimal direction and supervision. Strong skills with the Microsoft Office suite of software, including Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint, are essential.
