**Electronics Repair Technician**

Located in New Beith

Casual $26-33/hr +Super dependant on experience

14-38 hours per week with a view to permanent full time for the right person.

Flexible and varied hours in line with needs of the business

**Role Overview**:
We are seeking a meticulous and passionate Electronics Repair Technician to join our team. In this dynamic role, you will be primarily responsible for fault finding, testing and repairing circuit boards from various electronic devices. Ideally, you will already have good soldering skills and practical PCB repair experience - if you can hit the ground running, we would love to hear from you

Tasks & Responsibilities:

- Fault find, test and repair circuit boards from various electronics devices
- Reading and interpreting circuit diagrams and specifications
- Use of test equipment eg. oscilloscopes, signal generators, spectrum analysers, multimeters
- Assembly and basic level testing of electronic modules
- Soldering of surface mount components on PCBs
- Assembly/disassembly of devices
- Completing diagnostic and repair reports
- Inventory control and parts and consumables ordering
- Contribute to process improvement
- Adherence to OH&S and QA policies and procedures
- Assist in the conceptualisation, design and development of new intellectual property that could result in new inventions, designs, products and services
- Undertake other ad-hoc duties as required from time to time
- Liaising with clients and providing excellent customer service
- Admin tasks and invoicing

Essential requirements:

- A passion for electronics and willingness to learn
- Knowledge and understanding of fundamental electronics principles
- 1-2 years PCB repair experience
- Intermediate soldering skills
- Positive mindset and ability to problem solve
- Ability to work autonomously and take initiative
- Attention to detail and good fine motor skills
- Proficiency in use of hand tools

Preferred but not essential:

- Cert III in Electronics
- Restricted Electrical Licence
