Entry Level Driller Position

RUC Mining is a diversified underground mining contractor with an extensive portfolio of completed and current projects throughout the Asia-Pacific.

With its beginnings as a Raise drilling specialist, the company has gone on to partner with major players in the mining industry across the full range of their underground development and production requirements.

The company's reputation for successfully tackling complex works has been built on its fleet of modern equipment and highly experienced team of mining professionals.

This entry-level position offers a chance to start your career in the underground mining sector.

Key qualities sought include drive, initiative and a willingness to take on senior driller responsibilities.

The role involves working in small teams underground and requires hands-on training in all aspects of raise drilling, including rod handling, rig maintenance and mobilising and demobilising drill rigs.

Minimum requirements include at least 3 months experience in a labour-intensive background, based in Western Australia or willing to relocate and holding valid certifications such as C Class Manual Drivers Licence and Working at Heights Certificate.

If you are successful, you will become a Permanent Trainee Driller and have access to confidential support and counselling services, as well as paid superannuation and PPE, flights and accommodation.
