Job Title: Urgent Cabler

We are seeking a skilled and experienced cabling professional to join our team.

  • Install and terminate cables and wires for various applications, including telecommunications, computer networks, and audio-visual systems.
  • Use hand tools and equipment to attach wires and cables to appliances and equipment.
  • Join cables and seal sheaths with lead and thermoplastic.
  • Prepare and handle cables and wires in accordance with safety protocols and regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following skills and qualifications:

  • Hold a qualification equivalent to AQF Cert IV or higher, or have at least 4 years relevant work experience.
  • Have at least 2 years working experience in cabling, trouble shooting and team management on a major telecommunication network.
  • Be NBN enable qualified.
  • Hold a current First Aid & CPR certificate.
  • Hold a Construction Card (White Card).
  • Hold cabling and testing certificates.
  • Possess a Traffic Management card (Yellow Card) if desired.
  • Possess confined space & gas detection certifications if desired.
  • Possess working at height certifications if desired.
  • Have an extensive understanding of networks.
  • Have a can do attitude.
  • Hold an Australian (C Class) Drivers Licence.
  • Have a clear police check (within 6 months).
  • Be willing to get Flu and Covid Vaccinations.
