Job Title

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Telecommunications Field Technician.

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing telecommunications equipment and infrastructure in the field.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install telecommunication pits and conduits
  • Perform fibre splicing and testing
  • Install communications racks and structural supports
  • Install network equipment including earthing and DC power cabling
  • Perform fault finding and troubleshooting
  • Test insertion loss and OTDR of all fibre cables
  • Integration of FTTN, FTTB and FTTC equipment
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years' experience in telecommunications or a related field
  • Pit & Pipe Certification
  • HR or MR Licence and excavator competency preferred
  • Fibre splicing and testing certificates required
