
Multidisciplinary Care Leader

Lead a multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality services to children, youth, and families in statutory care.
- Oversight of intake, assessment, and care planning processes
- Supervision and mentorship of support workers and practitioners
- Collaboration with families, carers, and external stakeholders
- Compliance with child protection legislation and best practice
- Promotion of culturally safe services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities
- Contribution to continuous improvement and service innovation
We are seeking a confident, values-driven leader who thrives in a dynamic, people-focused environment.
- Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field
- At least 3 years' experience in child protection or youth/family services
- Leadership experience in a care or support setting
- Strong understanding of trauma-informed care and child development
- Familiarity with Child Protection Act 1999 and DFV legislation
- Experience working alongside Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander staff, children, young people, families, and communities
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
- Current driver's license
- National Police Certificate, Working with Children (Blue Card), Child Safety and Personal History Screening Check (LCS) – or ability to acquire
