The primary goal of this occupational therapist role is to deliver exceptional patient care while working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Patient Care: Provide occupational therapy services to patients with neurological and/or cognitive processing impairments, prioritizing their needs and developing effective treatment plans.
  • Caseload Management: Conduct thorough caseload management, ensuring that patient needs are met through timely interventions and optimal resource allocation.
  • Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care, leveraging collective expertise to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Professional Development: Engage in ongoing training and professional development to refine clinical skills and knowledge, staying abreast of best practices in occupational therapy.
Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Full Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Exceptional Communication Skills: Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration and rapport-building with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Independence and Teamwork: Demonstrate the ability to work both independently and as part of a cohesive team, adapting to changing circumstances and priorities.
