Financial Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Professional to join our team in Macquarie Park.

  • Collaborate with the Financial Reporting Team to deliver accurate and timely financial results, contribute to month-end close, intercompany reconciliations, taxation compliance, and audit preparation.
  • This is a hybrid role with onsite parking and steps from Macquarie Park Metro, within a fast-paced environment focused on COGS, tax, audit and internal controls.

  • Responsibilities include:
    • Completing month-end reporting including journals, accruals, prepayments, intercompany transactions, and foreign currency revaluations.
    • Preparation of accurate management and board reports with variance analysis and commentary.
    • Management of capital expenditure, fixed assets, and intercompany loan reconciliations.
    • Ensuring timely and accurate completion of Balance Sheet reconciliations and performance reports.
    • Supporting audit processes, including preparation of audit files and documentation of internal controls.
    • Ensuring compliance with taxation regulations, including BAS and FBT returns.
  • To Be Successful You Will Have:
    • Proven experience with inventory COGS and internal controls.
    • Strong understanding of Australian financial reporting standards, IFRS, and taxation (including FBT).
    • Advanced Excel skills and ERP system proficiency.
    • High attention to detail and accuracy under pressure.
    • Ability to work autonomously, manage competing priorities, and support audit and compliance processes.
    • Hands-on approach with strong problem-solving skills.
