Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced finance professional to fill a key role in our Sydney office.

About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and control financial records, ensuring accurate revenue recognition and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Streamline financial processes, analysing monthly revenues, reviewing timesheets, and finalising monthly billing in a timely manner.
  • Improve financial process efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness by collaborating with stakeholders to issue invoices on time and meeting regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and present regular financial reports to senior management and external partners, highlighting trends and areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate and perform month-end closing, resolving issues promptly to ensure accuracy and smooth process execution.
  • Handle ad-hoc projects, manage intangible assets, and assist in preparing monthly packs for reporting with senior management teams.
  • Respond to queries from auditors, customers, and other stakeholders related to financial matters.
  • Participate in special assignments or projects as required.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience working in a team environment, managing multiple priorities, and meeting deadlines under pressure.
  • Certified Accountant (CA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification is desirable.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Excel and other financial software packages.
  • Proven experience and understanding of accruals, revenue recognition, accounts receivable activities, and financial reporting for accurate results.
