Financial Manager Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced financial manager to join our team. As the finance director, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial operations of our offices, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial reporting and analysis.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Prepare timely and accurate financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements, in accordance with IFRS and US GAAP standards.
  • Lead the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting activities, providing insightful analysis and recommendations to senior management.
  • Conduct thorough financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, supporting strategic decision-making across the organization.
  • Manage cash flow projections and optimize working capital efficiency through effective treasury management practices.
  • Develop and maintain robust internal controls in accordance with Publicis policies to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with external tax advisors to ensure compliance with local tax regulations, including VAT, payroll taxes, and corporate tax filings.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors during annual audits, facilitating the audit process and addressing any audit findings or recommendations.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation within the finance function, driving efficiency and scalability.
  • Mentor and develop a small team of finance professionals and collaborate with the wider client service teams.

A comprehensive understanding of financial regulations and standards, including IFRS and US GAAP, is essential for this role. You will have a strong technical proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis, with a solid understanding of cash flow management, internal controls, and tax compliance.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and operational departments, to drive business growth initiatives and deliver results. A strategic mindset with a focus on driving business performance is crucial for this role.

This position requires a high level of professionalism, integrity, and adaptability. You must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and professional certification, such as ACCA, CIMA, or ACA. A minimum of 5 years in a senior finance position, ideally within a marketing agency or related industry, is also required.
