About the Role

We are seeking a part-time Customer Banking Specialist to join our Tamworth team. This is a fixed-term contract, ending 24th April 2025. Please note that rosters are predetermined, and you must be available to cover the following schedule.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, providing in-depth conversations about banking needs, including home loans, business banking, and financial advice.
  • Support customers with enquiries, cash handling, transactional services, and account maintenance.
  • Complete financial health checks to assess customers' financial needs and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide options for customers through education and demonstration of in-branch technology and digital banking solutions.
  • Problem-solve and provide effective solutions while championing our risk-adverse culture.
Requirements
  • Proven experience delivering exceptional customer service in financial services, retail, or hospitality.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate financial terms clearly.
  • The ability to ask the right questions, find solutions, and act with integrity while placing the customer at the centre of everything.
  • Ability to work in a busy, commercial, and driven retail environment while seeing the big picture for customers and providing holistic solutions.
