Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Lighting Design Coordinator to join our organization. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for overseeing commercial lighting projects from concept to installation, ensuring timely completion and adherence to project requirements.

You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including design teams and contractors, to ensure successful project delivery. Your duties will include preparing and developing detailed lighting plans, specifications, and proposals that meet our corporate vision and standards.

  • Develop and maintain accurate documentation related to lighting designs, including technical specifications and proposals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution and timely completion.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and support team development by sharing knowledge and expertise.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need a degree in Lighting Design, Architecture, or a related field, accompanied by at least two years of experience in lighting design, project documentation, and coordination. Proficiency in AutoCAD, AGi32/Dialux, Photometric toolbox, and other relevant software is essential.

You will possess excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are also crucial in this role.

  • Demonstrated understanding of AS/NZ Lighting Standards and Building/Construction Codes.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard software and tools.
